This page contains links to my articles published in the Black Sheep Newsletter and elsewhere. This newsletter is a fine quarterly publication dedicated to raising fiber animals, spinning, weaving and the many and varied aspects of the old art of raising, harvesting and processing natural fibers. I love the publication. If you are interested in subscribing, just "click" on the Black Sheep Newsletter logo above! They're great folks and will sign you on.
My regular feature in the newsletter, "The Homestead", centers around our herd of angora goats and the happenings on our farm, Singing Falls Ranch. If you're interested in down-home lore take a peek.
As the opportunity arises and other published articles appear we will place them here to inspire, encourage and educate you in the fine art of contemporary homesteading, shepherding and fiber arts crafting.
Oh, by
the way - I want to personally thank my dear husband, Stanley, who has been a
great webmaster to work alongside! When I've written my article - it's
then time for the pictures, or music. I make my request to the
"webmaster" and he's right there to put it together. He's the
one who has the artistic ideas - puts in the backgrounds and wallpapers,
etc. He sets the mood and in most cases makes what might be dull writing
come alive. He's invaluable to me. (Of course he is!)![]()
