Loyal and strong, faithful right to the end
A herding dog, yes, but first a great friend
Dear Aussies, my poem is dedicated to you
Thirty years I have known you - and you've always held true

ONE REGISTERED (AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD CLUB OF AMERICA) PUP LEFT - BORN MARCH 20, 2008. Why Reba Rose is left, both of us cannot figure out. A gal called on Friday night and said she wanted Reba - but never called back. We have had some trouble with our phone lines and perhaps she gave up calling. Reba Rose is gorgeous, a black tri with lots of copper on her back legs (dark copper) and a personality plus type of character. I bring her in the back room during the day and she likes to make her own decor, shredding newspaper, moving boxes around, until it is suited to her taste. I always have to smile. Puppies will be puppies. If you are a city home, you already know that aussies make great companions. If you need a sheep dog, Reba is your girl. Either way, you have a good dog.

Is your home the right one for her?

PLEASE NOTE. I have had many people call and leave phone messages. That's great, except that we DO NOT HAVE A LONG DISTANCE CARRIER. Medford is one hour drive away, but long distance. Roseburg, on the other hand, is not long distance. Please be patient and keep trying until we actually answer our phone! E mailing us is even a better way to get to us. Our e mail address is below, but to help you along, it is: mohair@singingfalls.com

C & C Northfork's 'Barod'
Singing Falls 'Dayenu'

To the left is "Barod."  The name is a Hebrew word meaning, "speckled, spotted and merled."  Barod is a beautifully marked blue merle with amber eyes, though both eyes are speckled with blue.  He is "papa."  We are thankful to C&C's Northfork for the privilege of owning this incredibly beautiful male dog.

The Dam: To the right is the lovely Singing Falls Dayenu. She is the progeny of our own Caleb (Las Rocosa lines) and Acuva (Flintridge lines.) We grieved last year after losing both, but we still have their wonderful daughter, Dayenu, who sings with my husband every single morning a duet called 'In Comes the Morning Sun.'

She and Barod produced a nice batch of pups for us yet again. For those who watch out for hip problems, we had her hips x rayed. Our vet, Tammy Eichmann, Days Creek, Oregon, pronounced them EXCELLENT!

Come with me to view these aussie pups. First, let's take a gander at "pa."

One more of Barod.  (He's handsome and he knows it!)   You can see the blue "specks"in his eyes when you view this photo, as well as the rich copper coloration he sports. O'Rafter Bottle Ranch/Meshlacom lines - just an all around personable fellow, always eager to please.

Our Dayenu when she was just a pup. Smart as a whip, a bit shy of strangers, loyal to her owners - and a stock dog natural. Las Rocosa lineage on sire's side and lots of Flintridge on dam's side.

PEDIGREES FURNISHED UPON REQUEST.

Now, and finally, one pup left:

Reba Rose is waiting for the right home. She has mascara around her right eye, though she applied it haphazardly and may look a bit clownish. She is a happy gal and loves people. I hope the right person finds her very soon. (Picture taken after bath at 12 weeks of age.) $225 to approved home.

SOLD Thank you Avram Drucker of Oregon.
