So I have been remiss blogging.

The new orchard is in. Five apples (rust resistant), one Italian plumb and two fig trees.

The grapes are in also and they are not fairing as well as the trees.

Just spent 4,000 miles and multiple hours on the road with meetings and conferences.

Today is equinox. I have two apple trees being planted with two figs and two more apples on the way from the nursery.

Lambs are being born two at a time. The weather isn't cooperating very much. The snow and rain have come in the nights when the young ungulates least need it.

Those were my thoughts last week as I was heading down our steep canyon. It had gone down to about 20 ℉ the night before as it had been all week.
