Bad blogger am I.
But thanks to an acquaintance across the country I have a couple of youtube segments to post here today. Jeff S. found these on the internet much to my surprise. Shortly before the OWEB Biennial Conference ended I was interviewed by Dan Shaw, OWEB multimedia chronicler for the conference. Dan's segments can be found here. Thanks Jeff!

BTW, in answer to your blog question Jeff: More like fisherman of the waters mode than fish out of water mode. Eh, maybe a little of both on second thought. Building momentum and heading somewhere in this seemingly abstract sea of divinely appointed purpose. I have a sense of purpose but don't know where it is leading. heheh. How's that for an answer. I think some of the conference ambiance came home with me :)
What a fantastic time I had at the conference. Connecting to others with like interests is proving very valuable for various venues of restoration work. Inspiration abounds to move on in the daunting task set before me.
CREP fencing project update: Tuesday is the big day. The Director of the Farm Services agency, a National Resources Conservation Technician and another technician relating to the project will be coming to Singing Falls to place final approval on our riparian fencing project. This has been a long time coming. This past week we finished installing approximately 5,000 + lineal feet of five strand high tensile electrical fencing (hence the lack of blog time). I'm feeling sore, old and tired in my bones. This kind of work is for young bucks.
A full presentation of that phase of the restoration work with pictures and text is forthcoming.
The Coho salmon have returned to the Elk Creek watershed (of which Joe Hall Creek is a tributary). I haven't seen any spawners in Joe Hall as of yet but spawners have been sighted in the more reliable waterflow stretches of the drainage. The "Thanksgiving Fish" have begun arriving.
