Tears at 8 years

Tears was my "nigh" ox. Always spunky and ready for mischief. Here he is giving me a hug. Big boy he was!

The drover stands to the left of the team most of the time which is why Tears was called the "nigh" (near) ox. This team was trained to have the drover ride a stone boat in the rear of the team also.
