Single Yoke Designs

This older model single yoke features a low "hitch point" on each side. It is made of a single piece of wood that most likely included a large branch.

A more contemporary design with hardware features. Take note of the hand crafted rings that conveniently have hooks on them. When using oxen for animal traction keep in mind that they are herd animals and do better with others of their own kind as a team.
